Harold's Healthy Lunchbox Competition

Today Lachlan, Matthew, Neila and Sammy-Lee particpated in the Harold's Healthy Lunchbox Competition at the Sports Park in Hastings. It was organised by the Life Education Foundation.  They came second in the competition. They worked well as a team too.

Their lunch menu included basil pesto hummus with crackers and carrot sticks, pita pockets stuffed with salad ingredients, chicken and cranberry, and fruit and marshmallows kebabs served with vanilla yoghurt. YUM!!!

Room 4 Camp

It is just about room 4's turn to go on camp.

We are all very excited and looking forward to the experience.

We have lots of parents to help us on camp and we are fortunate to have their support.

Some of the things we will be doing at camp Akitio include:

• A visit to the rocky shore
• Sandcastle and driftwood sculpture competition
• A visit to a VERY old and historic woodshed which is still in use - we may see some sheep being shawn
• A visit to the sand dunes which is like our own private beach retreat
• Down time spent with our friends, team building activities and games
• A visit to the playground and domain in Dannevirke
• A swim at the pools in Waipukurau on the way home …
